📖🌴 XXVIII Congreso de Literatura: Un viaje al corazón del Caribe
En el marco del Día del Idioma y del Libro, celebramos con orgullo la vigésimo octava versión de nuestro Congreso de Literatura, que este año rindió homenaje a la riqueza narrativa y la memoria del Caribe latinoamericano.

Bajo el lema “La palabra caribeña: un puente entre historia y libertad”, nuestros estudiantes de High School (9° a 12°) asumieron un rol protagónico, liderando la planeación y ejecución de este gran encuentro académico. Este proyecto pedagógico les permitió explorar desde lo simbólico y lo narrativo hasta reflexiones profundas sobre la identidad y la resistencia cultural.

En el Granadino, formamos pensadores críticos que usan la palabra como herramienta de transformación. ¡Gracias a toda la comunidad de HS por demostrarnos, una vez más, cómo hacemos la diferencia!.

Our students from Middle School and High School have been working with passion and purpose on projects that connect biodiversity and biodesign to real-world challenges. This is more than a fair… it’s a powerful showcase of curiosity, innovation, and leadership in action. 💡🗣️

And this time, you are part of it too. We would love for our families to join us, explore, ask questions, and celebrate the incredible work of our students.

Because at Colegio Granadino, we don’t just learn science…

🌿 Colombia: a living treasure

This past March 24–27, we held our first-ever High School Week Without Walls and it did not disappoint. Our Grade 9 and 10 students stepped outside the classroom and into the incredible natural and cultural richness of Colombia itself.

This year`s theme? Biodiversity and every single experience was built around it.

🏞️ Río Claro: A group headed into the wild for four action-packed days: white-water rafting, caving, canopy tours, nighttime arthropod observation under UV lights, and a service learning project at a local school in the area.

🌱 Campus & Instituto BIOS: Students weren`t slowing down either. They toured a genetic database and supercomputer, analyzed nature-based poetry outdoors, painted murals celebrating Colombia`s biodiversity, built and installed bird boxes on campus, and planted native flowering species in the ground with their own hands.

Because the truth is, some of the most powerful learning happens when you put down the textbook and actually show up for the world around you. 🌍
