Colegio Granadino is authorized by the Secretaría de Educación de la Gobernación de Caldas to provide formal education in accordance with Colombian educational regulations and requirements.

Cognia is a global nonprofit organization that provides accreditation and certification for educational institutions committed to quality and continuous improvement. Its rigorous standards and improvement processes support schools in evaluating their practices, strengthening student learning, and building a culture of ongoing growth.

TRI-ASSOCIATION (The Association of American Schools of Central America, Colombia – Caribbean and Mexico)

The Tri-Association is a professional network of international schools across Mexico, Central America, Colombia, and the Caribbean. It connects educators and school leaders through collaboration, professional learning, conferences, and shared practices that strengthen teaching and learning in international schools.

ACCAS  (The Association of Colombian-Caribbean American Schools)

ACCAS is a regional association serving international schools in Colombia and the Caribbean. As part of the Tri-Association network, it provides opportunities for professional collaboration, learning, and connection among educators and school leaders across the region.

AMISA (American International Schools in the Americas) AMISA is a professional network supporting international schools throughout the Americas. Through professional learning, conferences, leadership opportunities, recruitment services, and collaborative networks, AMISA helps schools and educators address the opportunities and challenges of international education.  

COMMON GROUND COLLABORATIVE (CGC)

The Common Ground Collaborative is an international network of schools committed to building coherent learning ecosystems that develop the whole learner. CGC provides frameworks and collaborative approaches for curriculum, culture, community, and learning design, centered on a shared definition of learning through Concepts, Competencies, and Character.

Colegio Granadino uses the CGC approach to strengthen curriculum coherence and guide the development of our Portrait of a Learner and learning ecosystem.

NORTHWEST EVALUATION ASSOCIATION (NWEA)

NWEA is a nonprofit organization providing research-based assessment solutions and professional learning to support student growth. Colegio Granadino uses MAP® Growth assessments to monitor student progress, inform instruction, and use data to support learning.

COLLEGE BOARD

College Board is a nonprofit organization that provides programs and assessments designed to support students in their preparation for college and career. Through our relationship with College Board, Colegio Granadino provides opportunities for advanced coursework, college readiness, and academic preparation.

Our College Board programs and assessments include:

  • AP® courses and assessments — College-level courses and exams that allow academically prepared high school students to pursue advanced study while still in secondary school.
  • Pre-AP® courses and resources — Courses and instructional resources designed to build the knowledge, skills, and habits students need for success in AP® courses and beyond.
  • SAT® assessment — A college admissions assessment that measures skills in Reading and Writing and Math and provides students with an opportunity to demonstrate their college readiness.
  • PSAT™ 10 assessment — A college-readiness assessment for Grade 10 students that provides a benchmark of academic progress and helps students identify areas for continued growth.

Together, these programs and assessments provide Granadino students with opportunities to challenge themselves academically, monitor their progress, and prepare for their next steps beyond high school.

GLOBAL SEAL OF BILITERACY

The Global Seal of Biliteracy is an internationally recognized credential that certifies language proficiency in two or more languages. Colegio Granadino participates in the program to recognize the bilingual achievements of qualifying students and staff, celebrating multilingualism as an important part of our school community.
