STUCO
STUCO, or Student Council, is a student organization that allows students to develop leadership skills, collaborate on school initiatives, and represent the voice of their peers. As the highest collegiate body of students, it ensures and guarantees the continuous exercise of student participation to achieve the objectives set forth in the Institutional Educational Project.
It is composed of two representatives from each third to fifth-grade classroom in elementary school and one student representative from each classroom in grades six to twelve in high school. Its functions are as follows:
- Actively participate in the school’s curricular and extracurricular programs and projects.
- Represent students before the Governing Council of Colegio Granadino.
- Present their concerns and improvement proposals regarding institutional or programmatic matters to the Administration or School Directorate.
- Develop initiatives for the benefit of the school community in general, and students in particular.
- Listen to students who present initiatives for the development and improvement of student life and channel these to the appropriate authorities, when feasible.
