Student Success Services

At our school, the Student Success Services department is an interdisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of every student.

Our mission is to identify and address learning, behavioral, or emotional needs that may affect a child’s school experience. Through close collaboration between Learning Support and Counseling, we provide personalized guidance, in-class strategies, and targeted interventions that promote each student’s success and well-being.

Beyond individual support, the department leads a variety of programs designed to strengthen learning, emotional growth, and family engagement across all grade levels:

KINDER

• Navegar Seguro: A class that teaches Social Emotional skills.
• Fun Day: A joyful initiative that fosters play, emotional expression, and positive learning habits in a safe and engaging environment.
• PECES: A program for Kinder and Primary parents focused on emotional education, positive discipline, and effective communication.

PRIMARY

• Navegar Seguro: A class that teaches Social Emotional skills.
• Meraki: A holistic stimulation program that nurtures attention, self-regulation, and socio-emotional skills.
• PECES: A program for Kinder and Primary parents focused on emotional education, positive discipline, and effective communication.
• Steps to Success: A program designed for parents who wish to strengthen their children’s study habits and learning strategies at home.

SECONDARY

• Study Skills Classes: A class that develops organization, planning, and study techniques to enhance autonomy and academic performance.
• HEPASI (Parenting Tools for the 21st Century): A program exclusively for High School parents, offering practical tools and resources to support their teenagers’ emotional and academic growth in today’s world.
• Mental Health and Wellbeing Club: A safe and supportive space for Middle and High School students to learn about emotional wellbeing, develop healthy coping skills, build self-awareness, and foster a positive school community.

We work in close partnership with families and, when needed, with external specialists, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach to each student’s journey.
