With over twenty years in education in four different countries, David has served in a variety of roles
at all levels from K-12. At Colegio Granadino, he is passionate about building strong relationships,
developing collaborative teams, and bringing our strategic plan to life as we make the difference together.
Lauren Hegarty
Director of Teaching and Learning
After six years as Primary Principal, Lauren is shaping Colegio Granadino’s new Director of Teaching and Learning role—leading strategic planning, strengthening systems, and advancing programs, policies, and pedagogy. A lifelong learner, she is dedicated to empowering teachers, students, and the school to reach their fullest potential.
Viviana Jaramillo
Kinder Principal
A lifelong advocate for early childhood education, Vivi has spent almost a decade at Colegio Granadino creating spaces where every child, family, and team member is valued and supported. Inspired by Reggio Emilia and Positive Discipline, her section is a place of exploration, connection, and growth. With an innovative spirit, she is always seeking new ways to nurture holistic development.
Peter Lakaris
Primary Principal
Peter has dedicated 24 years at the primary level. He firmly believes in the capabilities of young learners and strives to create classrooms where students feel connected, safe, and capable of achieving their best.
Kenneth Horrocks
Secondary Principal
With 22 years in education across 11 schools, 8 countries, and 5 languages, Kenny brings a truly global perspective to learning. With previous experience in science, engineering, and the entertainment industry, he is passionate about experiential learning that fosters character, develops key competencies, and builds strong communities within schools.

Juliana Zuluaga
Business Manager
With a strong background in finance and management, Juli brings over 20 years of experience across private, public, and international sectors. At Colegio Granadino, where she is also a proud parent, she has spent more than seven years leading business operations with a focus on strategic planning, resource management, and sustainable growth.
Paula Restrepo
Legal Counsel and Secretary General
A proud Granadino alumni, Paula is a lawyer specialized in Family Law with an emphasis on Children's Rights. With over 11 years of experience and more than four years supporting the Director and team in legal and administrative matters, she is deeply committed to the Child Protection Policy and the school’s continuous growth. Married to a fellow alumni and with two children currently at Colegio Granadino, Paula’s connection to the community runs deep.
Sandra García
Human Resources Director
With a background in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Human Talent Management, Sandra has spent over two decades helping organizations grow through strong leadership, human talent development, and cultural transformation. As a consultant, professor, and HR leader, she is passionate about building environments where people feel valued, supported, and ready to lead change.
Patricia Jaramillo
Technology Director
Passionate about innovation and technology, Paty has led systems and technology teams for over three decades. At Colegio Granadino, where she has served as Director of Technology for more than 23 years and is a proud parent of an alumni, she continues to drive the school’s digital evolution with vision and dedication.
Katherine Steffens
Admissions and Communications Director
Kate has been at Colegio Granadino for eight years as Director of Communications and Admissions, leading communication strategies and serving as the first point of contact for many families. Known for her warmth, positivity, and approachable nature, she is always ready to welcome everyone with a smile. As a mother of two girls who study at Granadino, she experiences the school firsthand and works passionately to make every family feel part of the community.

Athletic Director
Walo brings over 25 years of experience in the field of education, distinguished by his unwavering commitment to students’ well-being and holistic development. He holds two master’s degrees, one in Applied Sciences in Education and another in Arts in Education Supervision, that enhance his leadership and academic management expertise. Guided by values of discipline, respect, and responsibility, Walter cultivates learning environments that inspire personal growth and foster academic excellence.
